Graduate Division Scholarship Priorities

Gifts to the Graduate Division Alumni Association Scholarship Funds contribute directly to UCSF's excellence in research and training by supporting the financial needs of outstanding graduate students.

Joan Spencer Graduate Research Fund
This fund supports physical therapy doctoral students working to carry out translational and clinical research studies. Monies in the fund are used to purchase equipment and to cover costs of subject reimbursements and specialized clinical tests of subjects.

Julius R. and Patricia A. Krevans Graduate Studies Scholarship Fund
Named in honor of Chancellor Emeritus Julius Krevans, MD, and his wife, this fund provides PhD candidates with a stipend of $12,500 for nine months and payment of University fees. These fellowships reward excellence in research, and selection is based primarily on research accomplishments of applicants.

Lloyd M. Kozloff Scholarship Fund
Created in 1993 to honor Dean Emeritus Lloyd M. Kozloff, PhD, this fund covers University fees for graduate students who have advanced to candidacy in a doctoral degree program at UCSF.

Meredith Nordschow Endowment Fund
This endowed fund honors Professor Meredith Nordschow, a highly respected physical therapist, for her commitment to education and her many contributions to UCSF. The fund supports student scholarships and faculty research in the Graduate Program in Physical Therapy.

M.W. Kean and C.C. Frost Scholarship in Physical Therapy
Based on financial need, this scholarship fund aids physical therapy students who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and academic excellence. Cultural diversity may also be considered.
