Graduate Division Scholarship Priorities
Gifts to the Graduate Division Alumni Association Scholarship
Funds contribute directly to UCSF's excellence in research and
training by supporting the financial needs of outstanding graduate
students.
Joan Spencer Graduate Research Fund
This fund supports physical therapy doctoral students working
to carry out translational and clinical research studies. Monies
in the fund are used to purchase equipment and to cover costs
of subject reimbursements and specialized clinical tests of subjects.
Julius R. and Patricia A. Krevans Graduate Studies Scholarship
Fund
Named in honor of Chancellor Emeritus Julius Krevans, MD, and
his wife, this fund provides PhD candidates with a stipend of
$12,500 for nine months and payment of University fees. These
fellowships reward excellence in research, and selection is based
primarily on research accomplishments of applicants.
Lloyd M. Kozloff Scholarship Fund
Created in 1993 to honor Dean Emeritus Lloyd M. Kozloff, PhD,
this fund covers University fees for graduate students who have
advanced to candidacy in a doctoral degree program at UCSF.
Meredith Nordschow Endowment Fund
This endowed fund honors Professor Meredith Nordschow, a highly
respected physical therapist, for her commitment to education
and her many contributions to UCSF. The fund supports student
scholarships and faculty research in the Graduate Program in Physical
Therapy.
M.W. Kean and C.C. Frost Scholarship in Physical Therapy
Based on financial need, this scholarship fund aids physical therapy
students who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and academic
excellence. Cultural diversity may also be considered.
