Q. My Dean (chair, other faculty member) has an idea for a project. Can you meet with us to discuss this?
A. Please take a look at our Program Development and Project and Prospect Worksheet pages. Once you've reviewed the information and submitted a Project Worksheet, we're happy to meet with you to discuss viable funding possibilities.

Q. The foundation I'd like to approach appears on a list of "centrally coordinated foundations." What does this mean, and how do I go about contacting this foundation?
A. While we encourage multiple approaches to most donors, a small number of leading private foundations have requested that UCSF coordinate inquiries and formal applications – whether the approach is in response to a formal RFP or a general submission, and whether it will result in a gift or a grant. In order to best facilitate a relationship between these donors and the University, we've compiled a list of centrally coordinated foundations, and we ask that you check with us as to the best way of approaching them.
