Product Releases + Updates
The EpiINFO template for data entry of the FHOP core survey is now available. Click on http://www.ucsf.edu/fhop/fhopplan.html to read the instructions on downloading the template to your computer, to begin entering and analyzing survey data. Templates for the additional modules will be up on the site shortly.

Useful County Data Resources
The Commonwealth Fund recently released Quality of Care for Children and Adolescents: A Chartbook, a comprehensive report on the quality of pediatric care. The report includes recommendations for a set of indicators covering six domains that include health status, quality of care, access to care and disparities. Data sources are referenced and national and in a few cases state level results are presented. Check it out at: http://www.cmwf.org/programs/child/leatherman_pedchartbook_700.pdf.
Training
FHOP will be hosting an orientation for new MCAH Directors prior to the MCAH Action meeting on Monday, May 24, from 1pm to 5pm, in Sacramento, California. Representatives from the State MCH Branch will be present, as well as, FHOP staff. New Directors who attend will have the opportunity to get answers to their questions regarding completion of the Title V Needs Assessment, requirements for next years Title V Action Plan, communication with the State MCH branch, and other topics of interest.
