UCSF dental clinic offers free cleanings for "Give Kids a Smile Day"

February 04, 2010 The UCSF School of Dentistry will offer free cleanings, dental sealants and fluoride treatments as part of the citywide “Give Kids a Smile Day.” Each child will receive a free toothbrush, toothpaste and floss. UCSF faculty, volunteer dentists and dental students will provide free dental screenings to satisfy the Kindergarten/1st Grade Oral Health Assessment Bill requirements. Services will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Members of the media are invited to attend from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
