* combined with PhD course will fulfill PharmD/PhD requirements, *suggest lab rotation here.

A comprehensive examination is administered to all students upon completion of the winter quarter of the third year. The purpose of this examination is to test the readiness of students as they are about to begin their clerkship rotations, and it must be successfully completed before any student may begin those rotations. Failure to pass the examination or a make-up will delay the student's entrance into the clinical clerkship by one quarter, at which time the examination must be repeated.
