PSPG
225 RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES
PSPG 225:
Research Opportunities is held every Monday and Wednesday during the fall
quarter and winter quarter. Dinner will be served
before the talks begin.
Fall quarter talks will be
held Mondays, 6:00-7:30 pm, S-172 on the Parnassus campus and Wednesdays, 5:00-7:00 pm, GH S-204, on the Mission Bay campus.
Winter quarter talks will be held Wednesdays, 5:00-7:00 pm, GH S-204, on the Mission Bay campus through the end of January.
To familiarize students with on-going research within the PSPG
program and to aid in the choice of laboratory rotations, each week during
the fall and winter quarters faculty in the PSPG program will
present their research to PSPG students.
There is time for two speakers to present at each session; you
will have approximately 30 minutes. Any necessary AV equipment
will be provided, but we have found that a chalk talk often works
best. Your talk will be hosted by a first-year student who will
serve as a point of contact, make sure you have all the equipment
you need, and who will also introduce you at the seminar.
