Welcome Fair for New Staff All "new" UCSF staff employees are invited to a welcome fair to learn more about campus programs and services on Tuesday, February 13, 1 to 5 p.m., in the Millberry Union Conference Center. The event -- sponsored by the UCSF Supportive Work Environment's New Staff Employee Welcome and Orientation Program Subcommittee -- is the first-ever fair of this type. It is open to all new-to-UCSF staff employees hired since January 1, 2000, including the Medical Center's new employees. Personal invitations will be sent to these staff. Managers are encouraged to provide release time to these employees on February 13. New staff are encouraged to stop in to visit with the various campus organizations to learn more about the types of programs and services available. This fair is part of the Chancellor's initiative to create a more supportive work environment at UCSF and to strengthen our campus community by welcoming new staff in a meaningful and informative way. There will also be entertainment, refreshments and raffles for attendees. For more information, call Christine Pepper-Wong at 415-514-1538 or email her. Links: |
