Cash Handling Training

The Office of the Vice Chancellor, Finance, and Audit and Management Services, will conduct mandatory training sessions in January at various campus sites for all campus employees who handle cash.

The sessions are entitled "Training on Maintaining Effective Control over Cash Transactions." Those employees who only handle petty cash funds do not have to attend the training, although they are welcome to attend. The one-hour session will review UCSF policies on handling cash, controlling cash from point of receipt to deposit in the bank, and reporting cash losses

Listed below are the dates of the classes:

  • Monday, January 8, 8-9 a.m., Parnassus campus, C 701
  • Friday, January 12, 1:30-2:30 p.m., Laurel Heights, Room 310
  • Monday, January 22, 9-10 a.m., Mount Zion, Herbst Hall
  • Thursday, January 25, noon-1 p.m., Parnassus, N 217
  • Tuesday, January 30, 9-10 a.m., SFGHMC, Carr Auditorium
