Assistant Director of Medical Center Administration Appointed

Cindy Lima, who worked for 13 years as an administrator at the UCSF Medical Center, is returning as assistant director of administration, reporting to CEO Mark Laret.

Lima rejoined the Medical center on Monday, Nov. 13, after seven months as director of facilities planning at Stanford Hospital and Clinics. Lima will work with Laret to help analyze issues, manage special projects and serve as liaison for several campus committees and task forces.

Prior to accepting the Stanford position, Lima served as director of facilities planning for Children's Health Services at UCSF Stanford Health Care. Before the merger, she served in several key roles at UCSF, including assistant director of operations, director of project management and budget director.
