UC/CUE Tentative Agreement UC and the Coalition of University Employees (CUE) yesterday (November 8) issued the following joint statement about a tentative agreement: "The University and CUE have a Tentative Agreement for a first contract with the clerical and allied services bargaining unit. The last negotiated articles, Wages, Background Checks and Duration, were completed on November 4, 2000. The tentative agreement provides wage increases for 1999-2000, 2000-2001 and an additional 1% from the 2001-2002 budget allocation for wage increases. The agreement will expire September 20, 2001. The University is expected to approve the agreement and CUE is expected to recommend ratification to its members. "We will provide more details about the agreement as soon as we have more information." |
