Transgender Panel Today at Noon

A panel of noted transgender activists will discuss transgender issues, culture and history, with special attention to health concerns, today (May 30), noon to 1:30 p.m., in HSW 302.

The panel will include:

  • Susan Stryker, PhD, fellow at Stanford University and executive director of the Northern California GLBT Historical Society.
  • Stephan Thorne, a San Francisco police officer and former member of the UCSF Police Department.
  • Veronika Cauley, UCSF staff member and San Francisco Veterans Affairs Commissioner
  • Riley Morgan, consultant and member of the SF Transgender Task Force.

The event is sponsored by the UCSF Center for Gender Equity as part of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Awareness and Pride Month.
