Deadline for Benefits Enrollment Nears for Medical Center Employees Medical Center employees are reminded that May 1 is the deadline to enroll in UC insurance and benefits programs. Some 1,200 Medical Center employees -- more than a third of those eligible for full UC benefits -- have not yet enrolled for UC insurance. Those who have not yet enrolled should do so immediately. If you don't enroll, you will not have benefits. Coverage with UCSF Stanford Health Care ended on March 31. Once you enroll, your coverage will be retroactive to April 1. Medical Center employees may enroll online. Click on "Health & Insurance enrollment for newly hired UC Employees" located on the right side of the page. You may also enroll by phone by calling 800/888-8267. If you enroll by phone, please complete the new hire worksheet included in the benefits packet before calling. See your benefits packet for information about the plans and the details of the enrollment process. If you have need a packet, call the Human Resources Transition Office at 514-1100. |
