New Emails for Medical Center Staff UCSF Medical Center employees who have ucsfstanford.org, ushc.org and medcenter.ucsf.edu email addresses will be given a new email address or "domain" when the merger is dissolved. The new domain -- ucsfmedctr.org -- will be effective at 9 p.m., on Sunday, April 2. New addresses will follow this format: firstname.lastname@ucsfmedctr.org. This will be the primary UCSF Medical Center email address. The secondary address will be: firstname.lastname@ucsfmedicalcenter.org. Both email "domains" -- ucsfmedctr.org and ucsfmedicalcenter.org -- will be effective. The email system will be unavailable from 8 a.m., Saturday, April 1 to 9 p.m., Sunday, April 2, when the merged UCSF Stanford email system will be divided. The old domains -- ucsfstanford.org, ushc.org and medcenter.ucsf.edu -- will be maintained for 90 days until June 30. During this period, email will be automatically forwarded to the new address. Employees who have the "email.his.ucsf.edu" or "itsa.ucsf.edu" domain will not be affected by the email address change on April 2.
