Chancellor to Narrate Children’s Concert

Symphony Parnassus and the UCSF Child Care Services are co-sponsoring the annual children's concert on Saturday, March 25, in the Millberry Union Gym.

There will be two 30-minute concerts, 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

This year's musical selection is "Carnival of the Animals," by Camille Saint-Saens, and it will be narrated by UCSF Chancellor J. Michael Bishop.

There will be mats on the floor, toys for the children and chairs for everyone.

The event is being underwritten by Dean Haile Debas and the School of Medicine. Their support allows the performance to be offered free of charge to the campus and general public.
