Employee Discount Offered on "Raising
Hope" Tickets
The UCSF Foundation has announced that discounted tickets to the "Raising Hope"
benefit are available to all UCSF faculty and staff and UCSF Stanford employees.
"Raising Hope," which will be held on January 13, is a benefit for the UCSF
Cancer Center and will feature Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli in his first West Coast
appearance.
A limited number of discounted seats are available for the performance at Davies Symphony
Hall at 8:30 p.m. Second-tier seats cost $175 and Side-terrace seats cost $150. All but
$50 of the purchase price of each ticket is tax-deductible.
Tickets may be purchased at the UCSF Faculty/Alumni House (745 Parnassus) starting
Tuesday, December 29 between the hours of 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., on a
first-come, first-served basis. Employees may purchase up to four tickets. Employee
identification is required and all major credit cards, as well as personal checks, are
accepted.
