Puzzled? It's Oyster Point

Oyster PointThe three winners of this week's Daybreak contest are Maria Duerr, Ally Mok and Krisi McGrath. They were the first three Daybreak readers to identify the mystery photo as Oyster Point.

Their mugs are "in the mail," but you still have more chances to win one of your very own by reading Daybreak next Monday. In the meantime, here's some history:

The 5.7-acre Oyster Point site is located in an industrial park off US 101 in the City of South San Francisco, about 10 miles from Parnassus Heights. UCSF owns the Oyster Point building, which houses UCSF's Materiel Management department and employs 39 people. The facility also houses departments that are now under the UCSF Stanford Health Care umbrella -- laundry facilities, a store house and the merged entities' own materiel management department.

The building is a single-story, warehouse-type structure containing approximately 138,000 gross square feet. A large loading dock on one side of the building opens to a parking lot adjacent to the building. Surrounding land uses include industrial, research, office and distribution center. Marinas and pocket parks on San Francisco Bay are located in the general vicinity of the Oyster Point facility.
