A Grand Night at the Legion

The romantic scene set by mist, lighting and the sound of a distant fog horn created a magical feeling Friday evening as 800 faculty, staff and students visited the California Palace of the Legion of Honor for the first UCSF Night at the Legion. Inside the magnificent museum they watched and listened to 55 performers, most of whom either work or study at UCSF, and enjoyed music, artwork, food and wine.

Jilbrazil Band
Jean-Pierre Duboucheron, of the UC Child Care Center, played violin in his band jilbrazil Friday night. Aimee Bard provided vocals and Jeff Weather played guitar.

According to Michael Jones of UCSF Arts and Performances, which sponsored the event with EMPACT! and the Science and Health Education Partnership program, the night was a smashing success. He said that attendees would like the event, which was sold out, to be held again in the future.
