About Us Judith Young Judy Young, MPH is the assistant director of the UCSF National Center of Excellence in Women’s Health and the program director for "Fostering Excellence in Women's Health through Academic Community Partnerships", a national women’s health program. Judy brings over 20 years of experience in women's health, working in both academic settings and community organizations. Her work has involved coordinating peer health educators, conducting national community outreach and teaching and training on sexuality, women's health, LGBT Health, HIV/AIDS, and stress management. Judy currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for the Black Coalition on AIDS and as a board member for Planned Parenthood Golden Gate. She received her B.A. in Social Welfare from U.C Berkeley and her Master's Degree in Public Health, focusing on community health education, from San Jose State University. She is actively involved in her church, serves on the coordinating committee for Sistahs Steppin in Pride and sings with Sistahs Singin in Pride.
