About Us Joanne De Leon, Program Coordinator Joanne De Leon is the Program Coordinator for the UCSF National Center of Excellence in Women's Health. Working directly within the UCSF Women's Health Resource Center, she oversees the operations of existing programs including marketing, outreach, referral, evaluation and quality improvement on many conferences and events focused on women's health including, Mind Over Bladder, the Fibroid Community Program, Great Expectations classes and Women's Health 2020 Community Workshop Series. This year Joanne has also been working on encouraging and creating new participatory, women-sensitive health education programming, like community based programs for female urinary incontinence as well as various health fairs. Joanne is also the internship program manager and recruits new interns for the Resource Center on a quarterly basis. Joanne graduated with a B.S. in Health Science and minored in Asian American Studies at San Francisco State University. She has been with the Resource Center for over 3 years. Some of her personal interests include photography, craft projects, cooking, traveling, major league baseball, movies, and music.
