Our lab studies (1) hematopoietic development and (2) epithelial
plasticity/metastasis, with respect to cell signaling, progenitor
development, and cancer pathogenesis. We use the fruitfly
Drosophila melanogaster as a model organism, combining
classical genetics, functional genomics and novel Drosophila
cell culture systems.

We are a new lab located at the University of California
San Francisco (UCSF), in the dynamic and interactive environment
of the Parnassus Heights Campus and the Institute for Regeneration
Medicine (IRM).

We are seeking motivated and talented scientists with a
strong interest in integrating novel in vitro and in vivo
approaches.
