WHAT HAPPENS IN THE CLINIC?

To make an appointment, call 415.476.7500.  Most all insurance policies are accepted and self-pay is available

Your initial appointment will take about one and a half hours. During that time, the Clinic doctors will conduct a thorough interview. At this initial appointment, you will meet with a faculty neuropsychiatrist and a resident neuropsychiatrist. Although this may sound intimidating, be assured that we have a relaxed, open, and very non-judgmental environment.

Depending on your situation, you may be asked to schedule a follow-up visit. This visit may be used to review hormone lab results, discuss recommendations, referrals and/or clarify aspects of the previous appointment.

At the end of your evaluation, we will send treatment recommendations to you and your referring doctor if you wish. Your referring doctor or others involved with your care may contact us about your case at any time. The types of treatment that may be recommended to help you feel better include some of the following: medications, hormones, behavioral therapy, couples therapy, meditation, group therapy, exercise, vitamins or nutritional consultation depending on your condition.
