Welcome.
We all know that people and places have identities, but too often we forget that UCSF has one as well. And when we do consider the UCSF identity, we usually think of it in a local or particular way, not in its most general sense. In essence, we ask the world to piece together the whole picture of UCSF from a thousand snapshots.
UCSF’s Visual Identity Standards, provided on this website, are intended to unify and project our institutional reputation and to serve as a guide to University communicators and graphic artists as they develop their own projects.
Please note that an important element of UCSF’s reputation has been encapsulated in the UCSF tagline, advancing health worldwide™. We encourage you to use the tagline, within the approved guidelines, as often as you like.
Questions relating to these standards can be sent to info@pubaff.ucsf.edu.
Thank you.
