UCSF is engaged in a variety of ongoing projects designed to enhance the medical center and better serve both patients and the greater community. As we embark on any project, the planning always includes engagement with the local community.
UCSF is proposing a new parking garage at Mount Zion that would serve patients, visitors, and the general public.

UCSF’s Long Range Development Plan is designed to guide the university’s physical development for a 15-year period.
Built in 1917, UC Hall is the oldest building standing on the UCSF Parnassus campus. The building currently houses offices, labs, clinics, and classrooms, but discussions are underway about options for the building site, including the potential for its retrofit and reuse. A study group made up of members of the UCSF Community Advisory Group has been meeting with UCSF staff over the past several months to research, analyze and discuss these options, which will be discussed with the broader community before decisions are made.
